Public Notice affecting traffic through Pinvin on Friday 19th June from 11am

This Friday, 19 June, the funeral will be taking place of Harry Carroll, a young man who sadly passed away in Pinvin.

There will be a procession made up of two horse and carriages and a large walking procession of mourners.   The procession will go through Pinvin to the cross-roads and will then go into to Wyre Piddle. After visiting Smith’s Meadow in Church Street, the funeral will continue its procession to Pershore.

The very approximate timings are Pinvin village  between 1100 and 1115, and Wyre Piddle at 1200, with a time of about 1430 in Pershore.

We hope that all residents will be understanding and respectful, and that this advance warning will mean minimal disruption if you do need to go out around this time of the day.

Our thoughts are with Harry’s family at this sad time.

Cllr. Steve Mitchell (Chairman, Pinvin Parish Council)
